Classes

There are 12 class days and a few field trips each semester.
Classes are held on Mondays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

We do not force members to teach classes that the Lord has not gifted them to teach.  We utilize the gifts and talents of the members to benefit all who are involved.  For this reason classes are chosen according to what parents desire to teach and the amount of interest shown in the class options.
Class Options for the Spring 2012 semester are:

            second period - Bible Study
            third period - Music

  • There were no high school families present at the organizational meeting so for this semester we were unable to setup high school classes.  Co-op only exsisits through the involvement of it's members, we can not offer classes that we do not have volunteers to teach.
  • Each Semester's classes can be and usually are different. The classes are determined by the people attending the Organizational Set-up Meetings.

    The Fall 2012 semester's
    Organizational Set-up Meeting
    will be held on
    Monday, August 6, 2012 at 9:15 a.m

We hold a Set-up Meeting before each semester to choose classes, teachers, co-teachers, etc.
We can not provide child care during the Organizational Set-up Meetings.

The set-up meetings are open to anyone and everyone interested in the co-op.
At the meeting everyone expresses their requests for particular classes and chooses where they want to volunteer.  We work out a class schedule, teaching schedule, then registration opens.
